Quartz countertops

SCRATCH RESISTANT

Quartz surfaces are composed of about 93% quartz, one of the hardest minerals found in nature. Thus, the Quartz is substantially harder than granite and highly resistant to scratches. Consequently, most granite must be periodically sealed and maintained with proper care. However, Quartz requires no sealing and outperforms the product as a scratch resistant, which provides many years of its beauty and durability.

HEAT RESISTANT

Quartz is highly resistant to heat damage. Normal exposure to temperatures associated with cooking would not damage it. You should always use a hot pad or a trivet to protect the surface from heated cookware.

NONPOROUS

Quartz is a non-porous product. It is highly resistant to bacterial growth and stains such as red wine, cooking oil, and other spills. Thus, making the product virtually maintenance free, since, it doesn’t require sealing or periodic polishing.

EASY ROUTINE CARE

Although we say that the Quartz is virtually maintenance-free and highly scratch resistant, excessive force or pressure can harm its finish. Considering the beauty and its superb characteristics, small amount of care and maintenance will keep the Quartz countertop look as great as the day you bought it for years to come with proper care. You could simply wipe the top with warm water and a pH-neutral or non-abrasive cleaner, and rinse the top with clean water

CONSISTENT COLOUR

Quartz available in many different colours and patterns. The production process for Quartz offers  uniform texture throughout the countertop. The base colour of quartz can change slightly. It is wise to view the current Die Lot if an exact colour hue is required .

With a small amount of care and maintenance Quartz surfaces will continue to look as good as the day they were installed.

PRECAUTIONS

  • Never use cleansers that contain bleach or an abrasive formula.
  • Do not allow caustic chemicals to come in contact with the surface.
  • Always protect the surface by using a trivet or a hot pad before placing heated objects on the surface.
  • Always use a cutting board.

HEAT DAMAGE /THERMAL SHOCK

Quartz is structurally more resistant to heat damage than natural stone and low-quality quartz surfaces. However, excessive heat may cause damage. Always use a hot pad or a trivet when placing a hot cooking pan or other cooking units on the surface.

CHEMICALS

Avoid contact with paint, drain cleaners, oven cleaners and other caustic chemicals. Such chemicals may damage the surface permanently. Keep nail polish remover, bleach, markers, inks and oil-based soaps away from your quartz surfaces
